Happy Birthday Sav!!!!

Hey everybody! Hope your week was as good as freshly pounded fufu! Our week was pretty interesting, had the first planned service project like ever in the mission hahah score one for the district. 

This week was pretty slow. We had exchanges with the zone leaders. I went to Madina and when I came back they had taught only one lesson because of the rain. (yes i know we are spoiled) The next day was a lot of rain too but we just went for it, got soaked and mostly rejected, taught Barbara again though! 

We had a service project this week, that was good, gave the people in that area a good impression of missionaries. We weeded a members house. But it took like 5 hours, so that day was gone too quick. Plus we had to go to Haatso to get a key cut, zone leaders now need copies of all our keys. Saturday was a baptism for children of record, we couldn't get water for about 3 hours though because the water truck guy's pump had spoiled. Again took a lot out of the day. ON sunday though we went and taught the water guy, he is married with a kid!! Seems pretty sweet!

These things used to be nice during training, when I got tired easily, but now you just want to get out and help people. Still the lessons we had this week were pretty sweet. We had one that we took Stanly too see Eric and we talked about faith, as putting our trust in the Lord's will. Stanly's testimony was the only thing that could get through to that guy and for the first time in so long I felt tears coming because of the Spirit in a lesson. Then we heard a commotion and someone was taking things out of the back of a car and took off on a moto! A guy was screaming and running behind him and a car took off after him, but he got away. Satan was working over time with that one. Still we recovered the lesson and Stanly finished it off so well!

Sunday the 4 we really expected never showed. One was sick and the other three we don't know yet. We went to Barbara and she had been to 'all night pray' on friday and was still a little sick. We talked about the importance of the Sacrament and her closing pray was sincere, asking God for help and forgiveness.

well the work is sweet, I love being a missionary, I am praying always for all of you!
